Terms of Use

The Service

RealityTwinz publishes 3D captures of real places (Gaussian splats, point clouds and meshes), sells licences to download them, offers interactive experiences inside them (Ride), a browser Studio for turning scans into video, and capture services on site.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to create an account. You must be at least 18 to buy a licence or order a service. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm that you may bind that company to these Terms.

Your account

Some features need an account. Keep your password secret: you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once at office@realitytwinz.com if you suspect someone else is using it. You can delete your account at any time.

Uploading and selling captures

When you upload, publish or sell captures, the Creator terms apply as well. In short: you keep ownership, you give us the rights we need to host, process and show your work, and you confirm that you were allowed to capture and share it.

Buying licences

• A purchase gives you a licence to use the files, not ownership of the capture. What you may do depends on the licence you choose; see Licences.
• Prices are in euro and shown before you pay. Payment is taken by Stripe at checkout.
• Downloads are available in your account after payment. Keep your own copy of the files you bought.
• Refunds and the 14 day right of withdrawal are explained in the Refund Policy.

Capture services

A capture request is not a contract. We reply with a plan and a quote; the work starts when you accept the quote. The quote states what we deliver, when, the price, payment terms and cancellation terms. Where the quote is silent, the Refund Policy applies.

The Studio and Ride

• The Studio runs in your browser. Files you open from your computer are not uploaded, and you are responsible for having the right to use them.
• Videos you render from your own captures are yours. Videos made from captures on the platform follow the licence of those captures; viewing a capture here does not give you a licence to publish renders of it.
• Ride is a virtual experience in a 3D scan. It is not a simulator and teaches nothing about flying real drones.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law or anyone else's rights, including copyright, privacy and image rights.
• Upload captures of private property, restricted sites or identifiable people without the permission you need.
• Copy, extract or redistribute captures streamed in the viewer, the Studio or Ride, or work around the signed links that protect files.
• Use captures or images from the Service to train or tune machine learning models without a licence that allows it.
• Interfere with the Service: hacking, overloading it, spreading malware, or scraping it with bots.
• Impersonate anyone, post spam, or post hateful, violent or sexual content.

We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Copyright notices and removal

If you believe something on the Service infringes your rights, email office@realitytwinz.com with:

• The work you believe is infringed.
• The address of the page where the material appears.
• Your name and contact details.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and that the information is accurate and you are the rights holder or act for them.

We confirm receipt within two working days, may disable the material while we look into it, and remove it if the claim is valid. The uploader can respond with a counter notice.

Other services

Some content comes from other services, such as arrival.space spaces, the SuperSplat viewer and PlayCanvas. Their own terms apply to them, and we are not responsible for their availability or content.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features. Licences you have bought stay valid if a feature changes.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, normally after a warning unless the breach is serious. Licences already bought remain valid unless they were obtained by fraud.

Liability

The Service and captures are provided as they are; see the Disclaimer. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim there. Please contact us first: most problems are solved quickly by email.

Changes to these Terms

We update the date at the top when these Terms change and tell signed in users about important changes before they apply. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new Terms.
