Captures are approximate

Gaussian splats, point clouds and meshes are made from photos and scans and can contain gaps, noise, distortions or details that were not there. Scale and position may be off. Unless a listing states a measured accuracy, captures are not surveys and must not be used for construction, engineering, legal or safety decisions.

Places change

A capture shows a place on the day it was made. Buildings, landscapes, access rules and opening times change. Information about sites, history and locations is given in good faith but may be incomplete or out of date.

Ride, VR and motion

• Flying through a capture can cause motion sickness, dizziness or eye strain, especially in VR. Take breaks and stop if you feel unwell.
• Fast motion and flashing effects can affect people with photosensitive epilepsy.
• In VR, clear the space around you. Children should use it only with an adult present.
• Ride is a virtual experience. It is not a flight simulator and is no training for flying real drones.

Visiting real places

If a capture inspires you to visit a place, follow local rules: respect private property and opening hours, get the permits heritage sites require, and check the drone rules before you fly. A place being on our site does not mean it is open to the public or safe to visit.

Content from creators and other services

Creators are responsible for the captures and descriptions they publish. Embedded content from other services, such as arrival.space, SuperSplat and PlayCanvas, is provided by them. We review what we can and act on reports, but we cannot check everything.
