Turn your 3D scans
into cinematic clips

Drag effects and camera presets onto your Gaussian splats and LiDAR scans, shape the timing with keyframes, and render an MP4 right in your browser.

How it works

Like a video editor, but the footage is your scan. Effects and camera presets are cards: drag them onto your splats and they follow your keyframes.

  1. Add your scene

Open a .ply, .sog, .spz or .las from your computer, or pick one of your captures when signed in. It stands upright on its own.

  2. Drag in effects and camera moves

Drop an effect card onto your scene's row on the timeline, or a camera card between two keyframes. Every card shows a live preview.

  3. Shape it with keyframes

Frame a view and press Enter to keyframe it. Drag the diamonds to retime, drag a block's edges to stretch an effect, then render.

Camera presets

17 drone shots, moves and spins. Drop one between two keyframes and the camera flies it.

  • Circle right

    Orbits the subject clockwise

  • Dronie

Flies back and up, drone style

  • Fly over

    High pass across the scene

  • Helix

    Spirals out and up

Effects for Gaussian splats

Reveals, dissolves and looks made for photoreal 3DGS captures.

  • Assemble

Points fly in from all around and lock into the finished scene.

How to use: Drop it on the first seconds of your scene. Raise Scatter for a wider swarm.

  • Magic reveal

A glowing shell grows outward and swells into the photoreal capture.

How to use: Pick a glow colour that matches your brand. It reads best on a whole room or facade.

  • Twister

The scene spirals down into place like a small tornado.

How to use: Set Turns for the number of spins, then pair it with a Circle camera card.

  • Disintegrate

The capture crumbles to ash, sweeping from one side to the other.

How to use: Place it on the last stretch to end a clip. Tick Play backwards to build from ash.

  • Shatter

Cracks into glass shards that spin away into the dark.

How to use: Choose the Glass preset for a clean break, then slow it down with keyframes.

  • Hologram

Tinted, scan lined and flickering, like a projection in the room.

How to use: Stretch it over the whole clip for a future look, or keep it to a few seconds.

Effects for point clouds and LiDAR

Survey data, made watchable: scanner beams, contours and replays of the capture itself.

  • Points to splats

Crisp dots thicken into the photoreal scene, from survey data to the real place.

How to use: Drop it where the reveal should begin and set the direction the wave travels.

  • LiDAR sweep

A rotating laser paints the scan in, the way the scanner saw it on site.

How to use: Set Scanner position to where the scanner stood, then let the beam turn.

  • Contour lines

Glowing topographic lines climb every surface of the scan.

How to use: Works on terrain and buildings alike. Match the line spacing to the size of the site.

  • Height colours

A colour ramp from low to high makes elevation readable at a glance.

How to use: Choose the Topographic preset for survey colours, or set your own two ends.

  • Scanner walk

A LAS file with scan times

Replays the capture along the path the scanner was carried.

How to use: Open the LAS together with its trajectory .txt to show the walked path.

  • Scan replay

A LAS file with scan times

Points appear in the order they were captured, second by second.

How to use: Drop it over the whole clip; the replay speeds up to fit the time you give it.

Your scan already holds the shot.Drop in an effect, set two keyframes, render.

Questions

Do I need an account?

No to try it: open the editor, add a scan and use every effect and camera move. Rendering the video needs a free account, and your project stays in the editor while you sign in.

Which files can I use?

3D Gaussian Splatting captures as .ply, .sog, .spz, .splat or .ksplat, plain point cloud .ply files and LiDAR scans as .las. Signed in, your own uploaded captures are listed under Media too.

Are files from my computer uploaded?

No. A file you open or drop is read inside your browser for that session and never sent to our servers. Rendering also happens in your browser.

What can I export?

MP4 video at 720p, 1080p or 4K, at 24, 30 or 60 frames per second, or a folder of PNG frames in Chrome and Edge. A sharper High quality mode renders each frame at twice the size.

Which browser works best?

A recent Chrome or Edge on a desktop or laptop with a dedicated or modern integrated graphics chip. The editor is laid out for a large screen.

How large can a scan be?

Up to 8 million splats or 4 million LiDAR points per layer. Larger LiDAR files are thinned evenly as they load; compress very large splat captures to .sog first.
